📊 What these parameters mean in practice
Up to 35 hours of battery life. This isn't a spec-sheet number you need to halve. The receiver runs for up to 35 hours and the transmitter for up to 25 hours - in practice it means that on a three-day tour, nobody's hunting for an outlet, since the equipment runs on AA batteries and comes back ready for a fresh set, not a charger.
100-metre range. The group doesn't need to huddle around the guide. Participants can step up to an exhibit, take a photo, or fall a little behind and still hear the narration. In practice, this is the single parameter that changes how a tour is run the most.
25 UHF channels. Several groups can operate side by side without interfering with each other - even when they pass through the same museum room. It's also the basis for simultaneous interpretation: each language on its own channel.
110 g receiver. Weight matters by the fourth hour of touring. The receiver hangs on its lanyard and stops being noticeable.
Centralised channel switching from the transmitter. The most underrated feature of this model. The guide switches the whole group's channel themselves, instead of explaining to forty people which button to press.

The receivers are compatible with other Okayo WT-300D (digital) transmitters. They do not work with the older, analogue WT-300 model - that's a different device despite the similar name. The sets we rent out are paired at the factory and ready to work as soon as you switch them on - there's nothing to configure.

No. The Okayo WT-300D is one of the simplest systems on the market: you turn on the transmitter, participants turn on their receivers, and that's the entire setup. Every order comes with instructions, and we're available by phone for the whole rental period.

From 12 PLN gross per receiver per day. Two days is 19 PLN, three days 25 PLN, and every day beyond three is 4 PLN. The transmitter, ear tips, lanyards, and backpack are included in the price.
